Presentation: The proliferation of pseudo-science in agriculture and how it’s affecting the Wenatchee Valley
Description: Glade will lead us in a discussion of how pseudo-science has taken over the science of agronomy in our area and how this affects our local water, salmon and our economy. This will include a brief introduction to soil science and agronomy for specific local orchards. It will end on hope for our future and a nod of respect to some hard-working folks at public institutions who are fighting for truth and transparency.
Presenter: Glade has been in Washington since 2011 and is the VP of Agronomy for Chamberlin Ag. Born and raised in Kentucky, he has a BS and MS in Agronomy, the science of how plants interact with soil. Glade and his wife farm pears near Leavenworth.
